Our Process

Standard Repair Sequence

Every bit follows a strict 9-step quality-controlled process from receiving to final delivery.

Bit Cleaning

Removal of mud, grease, and solvent residue using bead blasting for full surface exposure.

Pre-Repair Inspection

Detailed visual and dimensional assessment. IADC dull grade assigned and documented.

Cutter Removal

Careful extraction of damaged or worn PDC cutters without compromising blade geometry.

Grinding

Precision grinding of blade pockets and cutter seats using lathe and OD grinding machines.

Cutter Assembly

New PDC cutters positioned in correct orientation with tight tolerances before brazing.

Brazing

High-strength oxyacetylene or propane brazing locks cutters in place. Pre-heat oven used as required.

Inspection

Post-repair dimensional check, OD verification, and visual QC pass before proceeding to finish.

08

Painting & Boxing

Bead blasting, protective coating, and premium finish painting before secure boxing.

09

Final Assembly

All documentation compiled — QC report, pre/post photographs, and dimensional data issued with shipment.
